I recently had a lovely dinner at Dolcetto. The location of the restaurant makes it slightly out of the way from the usual Upper Street haunts but I believe it is well worth the detour. The restaurant isn’t very big so on a busy night I would suggest that you book and not leave it to chance.

All the staff are Italian or speak Italian and are very friendly. After double checking with the chefs, they can quickly confirm what dishes are gluten-free. For my entree I had parma ham and buffalo mozzarella and for my main I had the risotto alla marinara both of which were absolutely delicious and the risotto rice was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend is usually very critical of Italian restaurants having lived there for a number of years but he is a big fan of Dolcetto. I will definitely be going back to this restaurant!
