I was treated to a late breakfast on a Saturday morning at Aurelia. Aurelia is a relatively new restaurant serving contemporary Mediterranean cuisine in Mayfair.

For breakfast, I had the “The full Spanish” which consisted of fried egg, homemade baked beans, pan con tomate, grilled chorizo and Iberico ham. I requested if it could be done gluten-free and I was delighted that they could. The pan con tomate was served on gluten-free bread and, for something so simple, was so refreshing and tasty – I wanted more!

I also tried one of their fresh juices which was served in a lovely little caraf. I tried the carrot, orange and ginger which was just lovely.

The restaurant wasn’t too busy at the time I was in there (only a few other tables seated) but the service was pleasant and attentive.

I would return here for breakfast and hopefully I will get a chance in the future to try lunch or dinner.
